Machine vision in viticulture
The application of machine vision in viticulture enables the evaluation of the yield components (cluster weight, berry number per cluster, etc.), the canopy features (porosity, cluster exposure, etc.) and vine vigour (pruning weight).

Estimation of grape composition
We can estimate the grape berry’s color in the vineyard using non-invasive and fast sensors (no need to alter or detach the berries). It is also possible to predict the wine color of the final wine before harvest in a fast way.

Assessment of the vineyard water status
Fast and non-invasive assessment of the vineyard water status can be effectively carried out using thermal cameras and NIR sensors. This can be used to optimize irrigation.
Application of multispectral and hyperspectral sensors
Application of multispectral and hyperspectral sensors to assess the vine’s vegetative status and grape composition.

Mobile multi-sensor platform for vineyard monitoring
Development of a mobile multi-sensor platform to evaluate the productive and vegetative growth of the vineyard for precision viticulture.
Mechanical yield regualtion
The Televitis group has developed innovative technologies, such as the mechanical early defoliation and cluster thinning, to mechanically regulate the vineyard’s crop
